    More cosiness, less heating cost

Welcome to your new room ambiance

The choice of heating surface is influenced by the room, window and wall layout of your new home to a large extent. Rooms flooded with light with large windows, variable, open spaces for furniture and a constant pleasant room climate – with underfloor heating systems by ROTEX you can let your creative living ideas take flight.

Freedom writ large - Floor coverings to your choice

With all ROTEX underfloor heating systems you have a virtually unrestricted choice of floor coverings. Because the special functions of the pipes and system plates used by ROTEX, changing the floorcovering, or subsequent addition of a carpet, for example, has little effect on the heating output.

Low energy consumption and healthy comfort

Because of the extremely large heating area, the underfloor heating system manages with a low surface temperature. The air temperature in rooms can be maintained at a significantly lower temperature than rooms heated by conventional heating systems, while delivering the same perceived temperature. Lower levels of air circulation also suppress the dispersion of dust and dust mites. A major benefit to those who are allergic to house dust!

Contemporary heating – even in the future!

The existing heating surface has a decisive influence on the choice of your boiler. Modern heat generators, such as heat pumps, for example, are designed to operate at low system temperatures. And the lower the flow temperature, the more efficiently and economically you can operate the heating system. The ROTEX underfloor heating means that you can choose any type of heat generator. Because it can be combined with both common heating systems, such as oil, gas or remote heat , as well as with a heat pump and with solar support. Tomorrow as well as today.

  • Gas condensing

The ROTEX GCU compact combines modern gas condensing technology with a thermal store.

Highest heating comfort and maximum water hygiene in the smallest possible space. The gas condensing/solar combination GCU compact by ROTEX offers outstanding heating convenience and maximum water hygiene on a very small footprint.

The energy combination for heating and domestic hot water with solar option

The best answer to ever-increasing prices: efficiency

The value and the cost of energy is constantly increasing. Choosing the boiler for your heating is a decision for the next 15 to 25 years. In this period the fuel costs of your heating system will amount to several multiples of the procurement cost. For this reason, the decision about a new heating system needs to be made very carefully. Design and maintenance of the system should be as simple as possible, it should offer flexibility for combination with other heat sources – including renewables – and be outstanding in terms of efficiency.

    A perfect team

The ROTEX GCU compact combines modern gas condensing technology with a thermal store and solar storage tank in the smallest possible space. Due to its integrated design and special features, the ROTEX GCU compact enables you to make the most of your energy saving options, as it can also be used as an efficient thermal store for other heat sources. In addition to the solar thermal system, it can for example also be linked to a wood burning stove with back boiler for hot water and central heating backup.

    Systematic condensing technology

With modern condensing technology converts the GCU compact the fuel used into usable heat virtually without loss. This is both good for the environment and your wallet, since lower energy consumption means lower heating costs, less use of energy resources and a reduction in CO2 emissions. During this process, flue gases are cooled to the extent that the steam they contain is condensed. The energy that is generated is used as heating energy

    The heat stays inside

The storage tank is a twin layer structure made entirely from plastic. The space between the inside and outside container has excellent foam heat insulation. This extreme heat insulation ensures low overall heat losses for the ROTEX GCU compact.

Lower your consumption – the modern way

ROTEX oil condensing technology adds value

Selecting the right boiler for your oil heating system is a decision affecting the next 15 to 25 years. The fuel costs for your heating system over this time will be multiples of the initial investment. Fuel costs, therefore, offer you the greatest potential for savings. Only condensing technology achieves virtually complete energy utilisation. When replacing existing boilers, the ROTEX A1 achieves energy savings up to 40 % thanks to its outstand ing levels of efficiency. So that you can be sure that your investment will pay off, ROTEX also guarantees the boiler body for 15 years.

    Saving is environmental friendly

The ROTEX A1 defines the current state of the art in oil boiler technology. Minimal emissions, straightforward operation and maximum energy utilisation characterise the ROTEX A1 oil condensing boiler. The most advanced technology converts the fuel used into useful heat, with virtually no losses. This protects the environment and your wallet. Reduced energy consumption means not only lower heating bills, but also protection of energy resources and lower CO2 emissions

Be prepared for anything – ready for bio-oil

In future, an increasing proportion of bio-oil, or bio-oil constituents, will be added to conventional heating oil. The ROTEX A1 is already prepared for the combustion of all types of commercially available heating oil, including those with biogenic constituents. With the ROTEX A1, up to around 20 % biogenic constituents (FAME) can be added to heating oil without impact on the operational safety, and without increased maintenance effort. The burner components have been developed to cope with the demand

The inexhaustible heat source on your doorstep

The sun is our natural energy provider. Take advantage of this free heat supply and use it in your own home. It can be found in environmental heat from the air or taken directly from sunlight. This energy source is both free and inexhaustible. The ROTEX HPSU compact (heat pump solar unit) utilises the environmental energy available to supply heat to your house with maximum efficiency.

ROTEX HPSU compact – high class efficiency

The ROTEX HPSU compact combines highly efficient heat pump technology with an innovative thermal store in the smallest of spaces. Electronic management of both heat pump and thermal store (ISM = Intelligent Store Management) maximises energy efficiency at the same time as heating and domestic hot water (DHW) convenience. The HPSU compact is “Smart Grid Ready”, which means that it has already reduced its energy costs to meet anticipated future requirements. DHW heating employs the instantaneous water heating principle and is characterised by highest standards of hygiene. Never settle for anything less!

The ideal solution for your new build

The amount of heating energy required by modern buildings is continually going down, resulting in lower flow temperatures. The HPSU compact low temperature heat pump is the ideal solution here, be it in conjunction with low temperature radiators or an underfloor heating system. The advantage of underfloor heating is that, due to the extremely large heating area, it can make do with a low surface temperature. Furthermore, it can even cool the rooms during summer.

Modernisation with twice the gain in convenience

Much the same applies to the modernisation of existing buildings as it does to new build: With the ROTEX HPSU compact heat pump, you'll be heating in winter and cooling in summer with highest levels of energy efficiency.

  • Air-to-water heat pump...

The 2-stage heat pump for modernisation achieves flow temperatures up to 80°C.

Thanks to a second cooling circuit high temperature heat pumps are ideally suited for the modernisation of existing buildings with radiators.

Create the right atmosphere – with renewables

ROTEX air-to-water and ground source heat pumps for new build and modernisation.

Natural heat sources on your doorstep

Outdoor air and geothermal heat are natural and inexhaustible energy sources. Take advantage of this free heat supply and use it in your own home. A heat pump “pumps” heat into the heating system from the ambient air or the ground, with the help of a highly efficient compressor. This principle is equivalent to using a refrigerator or air conditioning system in reverse. Air-to-water heat pumps utilise the ambient air as their heat source. They can therefore be installed quickly and inexpensively. Ground source heat pumps utilise ground temperatures which are constant all year round. Apart from the heat pump itself, geothermal collectors or geothermal probes are required for operating these heat pumps. The most suitable heat source in individual cases depends on the heat demand and the local conditions.

    ROTEX new build solutions

The amount of heating energy required by modern buildings is continually going down, resulting in lower flow temperatures. The low temperature heat pumps from ROTEX are designed specifically to meet such requirements. An underfloor heating system is essential for exploiting the full potential of this energy efficient heat generator. As underfloor heating systems have such a large surface area, they can make do with low surface temperatures. Many ROTEX heat pump systems can also apply the principle in reverse. Consequently, it is possible to use heat pumps in summer for cooling your building gently and economically.

ROTEX solutions for modernisation with radiators

Older heating systems with radiators depend on higher flow temperatures (at least 55 °C and up to 80 °C). So that you can also benefit from this technology in modernisation projects, ROTEX provides heat pumps with a second cooling circuit. In this second compressor stage, the temperature is raised to up to 80 °C – warm enough to continue using your existing radiators efficiently, without additional electric heating. Alternatively, ROTEX also offers a hybrid appliance consisting of an air-towater heat pump and a gas condensing boiler.

ROTEX solutions for modernisation providing twice the gain in convenience

Even with a modernisation project, there’s no need to forego the convenience of an underfloor heating system. ROTEX offers such a wide range, you are bound to find the most suitable solution for your project.
